Training schedule & See Jane Fight Breast Cancer

I have been really worried with how I would get the funds to do the triathlon, and everything. Davey has not had many hours at work lately. Davey always says, "Why don't you try to get sponsors?" I always said No No.. I hate to ask people for money! But the reality is, this triathlon is raising money to fight breast cancer! That is something I want to be a part of. My great aunt Beth and my great Grandma Ruby have both had breast cancer. And thankfully they both survived. I plan to try my hardest for the next few days trying to raise money for it! The money will go towards giving to the Breast Cancer Fund, gear needed, and gas to get there so I can participate . I realized that you get prizes too for raising a nice amount of money towards the cause and the winner gets a bike!! Whoa! The registration fee I already paid also goes towards the cause. So if anyone would like to be part of this, please let me know and I would really appreciate it!
Next triathlon, I will definitely starts trying to raise money sooner. I read that really good triathletes have big time sponsors (meaning they don't have to pay for anything) but they also win the race or place in the top 3. That is now a future goal! How exciting that I can compete in a sport I am newly so passionate about and also give to the cause while doing it.

It's a great cause. A lot of people don't understand why it's so expensive to race and I know it takes a lot of man power to put these events it makes me feel good to know the money is going to a charity - any charity. My tri is also supporting cancer. Good luck.
