Walk it Girl.

I just ordered this DVD.

I'm pretty excited about it. I saw a fellow blogger, Fit Mama does thise video when she can't get out to walk. Brilliant!

Confession. I use to think this DVD would be so lame and boring. Well, now that I don't really have the option to go out into my neighborhood to run or walk when my husband is home, this seems perfect to do during nap time!! This DVD comes with a 1 mile walk, 2 mile walk, 3 mile walk and a 4 mile walk.

I never understood how you could walk in place, but I am totally open to it, and what matters is that it gets me through this time so I can continue on my journey of weight loss (after baby) and half marathon training again (after baby).

I am about to do my Yoga video. I had to stay home from church cause Shane is pretty sick. The boys have currently hijacked my TV to watch Superman movies so I will be doing the DVD on my computer.

I plan to start tomorrow riding the stationary bike that someone gave us. It's nice piece of gym equipment. It's no Spin bike, but it will work and I am in no place to be picky!

Looks are looking up, and I am excited about my goals.

Love, The Curvy Housewife

I originally started my workout program, back in 2006, with Leslie's "Walk Away the Pounds" DVDs. I own several of them. They are good exercise and I did enjoy doing them.

That's awesome Sheila! Good I'm so glad. I think they will be a big help. :)

Yes, Leslie is awesome! She also has a couple DVDs with giant rubber bands so you can do some resistance work on your upper body, too.

Yay ! I have one of those too. Thank you!

Hi from a new follower by way of Twitter! Enjoyed reading your blog.

9 months ago if someone would have told me I would love doing home DVD workouts I would have laughed. Now, home workouts are essential and something I look forward to.

My first real foray into fitness (found myself at 200-ish pounds "all of a sudden") was with Billy Blanks' Tae Bo. VHS. Yep, a tape. :) I have been a fan of "workout videos" (I still say this even though mine are DVD and streaming) ever since. Not only can you have a variety of workouts on hand, you have ZERO excuse to not do SOMEthing! :)
