The Missing Link

Weigh in. I lost 1 pound this week. It's ok. I'm actually happy about that even though last post I said I'd throw my scale in my dog poo.

Since my last post I hadn't had any chocolate or candy. I didn't eat after 6:30. I moved 20 mins a day. The point of that challenge was to prove to myself I could deny myself, and to find the missing link.

My husband is very sick with the flu. On Wednesday he asked me to go to the store after church to get him a candy bar!!! Of course. He never asks that. I went, I bought candy bars for him, and my boys, and I didn't eat any!! {I may or may not have have bought a few Cadberry cream eggs for a future day though}. I decided I would get $5 cash back to put in my goal weight shopping fund jar. My treat to myself for saying NO. Happy dance.

Not eating after 6:30 is really helping. I do so much better to know I have a cut off time. THIS IS THE MISSING LINK. Mentally it's important for me to be conscience of when I stop eating.
Another missing link I've realized is, my free day, is now going to be a free meal. I realize a whole day of "free" makes it difficult to get back on track after.

Hope you all are doing well. :)

Love, The Curvy Housewife

I made the same decision to cut out the free day. It worked for me for the first 50 pounds, but then came back to bite me. I'm happy with a free meal, but I'm still going to track it!

Keep up the great work my friend!

Way to stay on track. Sometimes you are right alot of it is just proving to ourselves that we can do it!

I love cadbury eggs! I have had 2 this season so far. I used to buy the box now I just buy one at a time and wait till i get home to enjoy it instead of eating 2 in the car on my way home.
