I decided to start a food blog. It's called, "The Curvy Cook" and it's all about my adventures in cooking for 20 people here at the ranch! I am not very good about writing out recipes, but I will do my best, along with post lots of pics of what I make.
I like to think of myself as a healthy person who rather have healthy foods than not, which is true, but it's a challenge cooking for 20 and cooking what I would make for our family. People donate a lot of canned foods, and I am not in charge of grocery shopping. But I ALWAYS make the boys eat their fruits and veggies, and I have made several things for them they have never had (I like to call it LA food :) I am not a southern cook, but I am learning {also with trying to out a healthy spin on it}. I refuse to serve them veggies that are totally slathered in grease and butter that it's worse for them than good.
I am excited to try new things, make some of my Mom's , Grandma's, and Mother in law's recipes. And if you have any let me know! Please check out the blog:
