I usually have a set of goals written down and rewards that go along with them. But I never actually reward myself. That changes now! I need something to keep me motivated to the next goal. Breaking it up into several smaller goals makes me feel better.
I love sparkly, shiny, and pretty things. Just FYI.
I told my husband yesterday that when (WHEN!!!) I reach goal, I want him to buy me a nice charm bracelet and engrave the pounds I lost on the heart. I bought a cheaper charm bracelet to wear during my weight loss adventure, and now I plan to buy a charm for it every %5 lost. :)
Goal #1- Lose %5 of body weight (about 11 pounds)---> reward: A charm for charm bracelet and $20 for new accessories.
Goal #2- Lose %10 of body weight (21 pounds)---> reward: Another charm and a new purse.
Goal #3- Lose %15 of body weight (32 pounds)---> reward: Another charm and new shoes.
Goal #4- Lose %20 of body weight (42 pounds)---> reward: Another charm and FAMILY PHOTOS.
Goal #5- Lose %25 of body weight (53 pounds)---> reward: Another charm and Bare Essentials Make up.
Goal #6- Lose %30 of body weight (64 pounds)---> reward: Another charm and Hair Done!!
Goal #7- Lose %35 of body weight (74 pounds)---> reward: Another charm and full body message!!
Goal #8- Lose %37 of body weight (77.6 pounds)---> reward: GOAL WEIGHT shopping spree and a trip to DISNEYLAND!
My goal is 134 lbs. I'm 5'4. But more than the final number, I want to be FIT. I want to be a size 6, and that's really what my goal is.
I've been saving up already for the trip to Disney and the shopping spree. I'm not putting a time table on my goals, but I would love to be at my goal in a year from now. With His help I can!
